SAC - Cheshyre Cheese Club
About
One of the 1st clubs founded at SAC, this 99-year-old club celebrates human expression and creativity. Our purpose is to reward excellence in scholarship and leadership, to foster social development and kindness, and to inspire creativity in the humanities, not unlike the supper club of Dr. Samuel Johnson organized at Ye Cheshire Cheese Pub in London during the 18th century. Students from various intellectual and artistic interests such as Philosophy, Art, Music, Archeology, Anthropology, Communication and Media studies, culture, people, literature, language, theater, and so on, are welcome!We helped create a Creative Writing Scholarship for SAC students that will pay for the class!!
Other clubs with similar interests are encouraged to join us and collaborate on events!!
