The first two Philosophy courses, 309 Logic and 310 Ethics, were taught at St. Philip’s College during the 1973-1974 academic year by Connie Economy, the first instructor of Philosophy and Ethics. As we approach the 50th anniversary of the teaching of Philosophy at St. Philip’s College, we recognize and celebrate those who have served the students of the College over these five decades. We will be celebrating in the Fall of 2023 with a Philosophy Faculty Dinner, on October 13, 2023. There is much to celebrate: 1) 125th Anniversary of St. Philip's College 2) 50th Anniversary of Teaching Philosophy at St. Philip's College 3) 10th Anniversary of the Philosophy Club |
