The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) Program assists U.S. higher education institutions in expanding programs of academic exchange, by supporting non-U.S. scholars through grants for teaching at institutions that might not have a strong international component and/or serve minority audiences.

In Fall of 2021, the St. Philip's College Philosophy Faculty gave special recognition to the Corrymeela Community, our long-time partner and the home of our previous Fulbright Scholars-in-Residence.
In Spring of 2021, the St. Philip's College Philosophy Faculty gave special recognition to Dr. Trey Guinn, Associate Professor of Communication Arts at the University of the Incarnate Word, and the President of the San Antonio Chapter of the Fulbright Association.
