At commencement each year, the Philosophy Faculty at St. Philip’s College bestows an award that recognizes outstanding contributions to the shared work of our extended faculty, our colleagues, or our local partners in the Greater San Antonio Community in the teaching of Philosophy inside and outside the classroom.
Our students benefit when our partners come together to share expertise, knowledge, and resources.
This year’s recipient is San Juan San Miguel, M.A., the Coordinator of Rose R. Thomas Writing Center and Co-Director of the Honors Pilot Program.

San Juan San Miguel Hosting the 2019 – 2020 S.T.R.E.A.M. Lecture and Performing Arts Series
St. Philip's College presented the 2019-2020 S.T.R.E.A.M. Lecture and Performing Arts Series on September 24, 2019, in the Campus Center, Heritage Room, featuring a guest speaker from Overland Partners: "The 3D Printed Home Design Challenge." San Miguel is the Founder and Coordinator of the series.
